Paradise- Lost and Regained

Genesis 3: 21-24

Satan- (accuser or adversary) was a great angel created perfect and good. He was appointed to be a minister at the throne of God. Yet, before the world began, he rebelled.
On May 11,2000 a lady found a new e-mail on her computer, which simply said "I love you". It looked innocent, perhaps even romantic. Like most of us would she clicked to open the message, and the so called "love bug" was born. With lightning speed it raced all around the world bring politics and businesses to a halt. It was a deadly computer virus that caused millions of computers to crash. One virus, yet so much contamination. (Think about it)
BUT, it was not the first time that a single virus has caused so much grief to man. In fact, a deadlier virus hit planet earth more than six thousand years ago, polluting the entire world.
It seemed like all hope was lost forever. Oh, but God was not through!!!!!!!

God has provided a way to cleanse us and free us from sin and restore us into His fellowship! Jesus came to earth to destroy the works of Satan.

This garden that we see in Genesis was cleaned out. god drove out Adam and Eve and placed angels with flaming swords to keep out anything and everything. Nothing is getting back in. Nothing or no one is getting to that place.

But we have to look at another garden. There is no name for this garden. (Mark 16) We do know that it was a new tomb and Jesus is hastily buried there b/c the Sabbath is about to start and all work must cease. As two women, one the mother of Jesus came to finish the embalming process, they come to see a stone rolled away! Then they encounter an angel who announces "He is not here! he has been raised from the dead!!!

Do you notice the differences in the two gardens?
One is about verdict and exile. the other is about release and return. One is about condemnation, the other is about reconciliation. One is about the loss of relationship, the other is about return of relationship. One has angels of separation, the other has angels who were announcers of redemption.

The way is now opened again!!!!!!PTL.

In the old Adam we die, but in the new Adam we have eternal life!
God saved the best for last! Hallelujah!!!!!!!

This is excerpts from a message I preached Sunday morning. God Bless.
Until all are Reached,
Pastor Shawn Crosby
